I got a free developer pass thanks to mobogenie. My friend got a silver pass and we were allowed to a very limited number of talks but the expo itself attracted huge number of participants and turned the whole 5 star hotel to a crawling space of developers and geeks to know about the many technologies that surround the current market.

Amongst the talks  I attended, one was of UC Union that I liked and the other was of mobogenie itself. How ignorant I was to the whole non Google- world where they had their own marketplace, and also providing ways to install the premium apps without even paying the bills. They had a tweeting contest after which the winners were also distributed free phones, and I wasn’t one of them 😦 slow net to blame. Ahh, a refreshing experience indeed.

In the expo, not only the startups had gathered but also established companies like Flipkart, Google, Inmobi, etc. I guess it’s arguably true that some of the mentioned are still a startups, but again who;’s keeping counts. We’re all here to make a name for ourselves. 😉 Ah, everyone were provided with free cup-cakes from vserv another sponsoring partner and yes it was good and I’m not saying cause it’s cause of my sweet tooth. 😀

Anyways, all said, the conference was a big time event and the first I attended in along time I guess. not the last I presume 🙂
