Walk Away

Walk Away

So, After a long gap of 6 months or so, I’m back here. Not like anybody was awaiting eagerly, or was someone? You never really get to know unless you are approached over it. Isn’t it? Trust me, I’ve been meaning to write since I moved to Bangalore about 8months now. Gosh, been a long time. Never realised how fast time flew in the midst of all the happenings and non-happenings.

So, today’s just one of those mornings, when I work up from a severe headache sleep, and felt life’s more than living on the edge and not caring. We can live our life as if we don’t care as to what happens with us, but to what consequences? We often run after fun and easy life so hard, that we forget the reason we all have reached this far for. Where we started, the people who were there to help us out. I’m not talking about the person who helped you simply cause they thought you’re cute. I’m talking about that person, who knew you were out of your league and still helped anyway. I’m talking about that person, who wanted to see you cross the limits and be where you are right now. I’m talking about that person, who got no benefit from your success other than watching you grow. And still these are the person that we forget most easily. Cause they don’t expect anything in return. They are just people who love to see you be happy with what you are doing. It’s funny, how we easily forget these people and move on our life with those who just hopes and tries to get in your life so bad. Today, let’s take a moment and ponder over our lives and search for all those people who was there for you, when you didn’t need them to be but wanted them to stay.

If you are reading these, probably you are already thinking about such few people. What if I told you, you are still not thinking about the real ones. You are still thinking about the ones right infront of your eyes, maybe some of those whom you don’t wanna talk to again. Yet again, proving the basic human nature of pushing out the good ones and keeping close the ones that we only think we can’t live without. We think if we abandon this group, what if we never find any other so fun to hang out with.

Look Back

Maybe something you left behind..

So, we end up letting go the ones we actually want to be with, to stay with people whom we just wanna spend some “fun” time with. Cause they will talk about you otherwise. Such afraid creatures are we. Afraid to let go of the shiny new smartphone while trying to hide the old Nokia. Yes, smartphones are better. I, myself can’t stay without it. But, why does that even let me ignore that fact that I loved my Nokia phone, only cause our society would think I’m classless and has no sense of fashion. At the end of the day, when you actually need to talk to someone, it’s the Nokia that comes to save your life. Smartphone’s are just dead long ago.

There’s always a future to look up to. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t look down at the ladder, which helped us climb so high that we are now clouded by our own judgmental behaviour. Look over your shoulders. There’s someone watching over you right now. 😉
